Q: What is foster care?


A: The State of Arizona is responsible to investigate possible cases of abuse or neglect. If the State finds evidence that a child is not safe, the State can remove the child and place them in a licensed home.

We work with youth ages 15-21 who have experienced foster care,

Q: What does "age out" mean?


A: When a youth reaches the age of 18, the State no longer has to provide services for the youth. 

Youth do have the opportunity stay with the State until age 21.
